Houjicha is roasted sencha. Heated on fire or electric heater, houjicha has a special "roast" smell and hence the name in Japanese "Roast-Tea". Our houjicha is a dark roast houjicha giving more roast aroma. The color of the tea is brownish-orange, resembling moonlight in the autumn harvest season. 
 
Houjicha is suitable for drinking after a big feast and it has relatively lower caffeine.

焙茶是以大火或高溫炒過的煎茶，富有令人喜愛的焙炒香氣。我們的焙茶經深度烘焙，焙炒香氣更濃，茶湯帶有焦糖的甜味。這款焙茶茶湯呈棕橘色，令人聯想起秋收時節的月色，故名「秋月」。
 
焙茶適合去除油膩感，適合飯後飲用，其咖啡因含量亦相對較低。
